Community Involvement

Managing a restaurant in Lee's Summit is wonderful... We get to meet so great customers we call friends. tip2We also get to support our customers at their businesses, family gatherings, weddings or other ceremonies. Sometimes we hear one of our friends experiences a loss or an organization in need of our support. Habanero's remains committed to not only our friends but our local businesses and schools. We offer school nights for the Lee's Summit School District, fundraising with the Lee's Summit Police and Fire Departments, and money drives of friends and loved ones who have lost a family member.

"Habanero's stands committed to helping our friends and community. It's the only way we feel right about being located in a community where we have gained so much."

Did You Know?

Do you know what makes a pepper hot?

According to our Kitchen Manager, Sylvia, the chemical capsaicin is what makes peppers so hot. So the more capsaicin that is in a pepper, the hotter the pepper will be. Who knew?
